High School Water Polo:

The water polo 1st Team travelled to Johannesburg to compete in the annual St Stithian’s Stayer’s water polo tournament. With 20 girls’ schools competing, the 1st team placed 2nd in the pool stage and went on to play Stirling High School in the quarter finals. Unfortunately DGC lost this match but recovered to place 7th in the overall standings. Well done to all the girls; what a wonderful team achievement.

The U14 water polo team also went on tour to Johannesburg, they participated in the Annual Roedean U14 Tournament. They too placed 3rd in their pool, and lost the playoff match to get into quarters. DGC played their final match of the tournament against St Anne’s, for the 9th and 10th position, winning this and placing 9th out of the 20 schools participating. Well done girls.
