Martial Arts:

Husna Osman, Gr 7, attended the ‘World Martial Arts Tournament’ representing South Africa in London. She achieved 2 Gold and 2 Silver Medals and is recognised as the U15 World Martial Arts Champion for this tournament. Well done, Husna.

U16 A won the U16 Section 10-3 vs Durban Girls’ High School
1st Team won the open section 9-1 vs Thomas More College

The Grey College Bloemfontein Invitational Athletics meeting took place this past weekend. The results were as follows:

 

  • Lara Rabinowitz placed 1st in the U17 400m Hurdles
  • Shannon Verster placed 1st in U17 High Jump

 

Both girls were very close to breaking the respective records. Well done on these fantastic achievements.
