The DGC Grade 10s decorated a set of Javanese window frames, rescued from the old hospital building before it was demolished, with bright and beautiful art work to cheer up the little patients. The connection between the school and the hospital dates back to when the children’s section was  newly opened in the 1920s and the school participated in the establishment of a cot fund.  Pictured with the headmaster and art teacher Joan Martin are Tumi Qholosha and the driving force behind the restoration of Addington Children’s Hospital, Arthi Ramkissoon.
